Puesta Del Sol is a 64 unit new construction project on the north side of Caye Caulker. We are utilizing and combining different technologies in order to create a sustainable resort on the island is something that, to date, has not been seen on Caye Caulker, the surrounding islands, or even on the mainland go Belize. All of our patio doors and windows are made of hurricane resistant materials. Our goal is to be environmentally conscious while keeping our properties safe and structurally sound for years to come. Our reliance on electricity will come from the sun and we will only use the public utilities to subsidize the solar in a secondary capacity as a back up only. The clean reliable power from the sun will allow us to be virtually free of the local public utilities. The utilization of solar energy in our condominiums and facilities will ensure renewable energy for decades to come.

Puesta Del Sol will employ a desalination system with reverse osmosis to provide the cleanest and safest drinking water available. Clean water is essential and we will invest top dollar to ensure our Owners and guests only get the best. As well, we realize that running a resort takes thousands of gallons of water a day. That kind of volume may not be possible for the local utility to provide. We do not want to be a part of the problem, we want to be a part of the solution here at Puesta Del Sol.
